Description
Every year in Newfoundland and Labrador there are
somewhere between 600 to 800 moose-vehicle
collisions. People die in moose-vehicle collisions, but
more frequently they are injured and those injuries are
often catastrophic. Brent Cole, a Wildlife Officer, was left
a quadriplegic after his car collided with a 1,000 pound
bull moose on the Trans-Canada Highway near Gander
on October 8, 2006. Into the Mist: A New Dawn, A New
Day is his story.
