Southwest Arm Historical Society researcher Lester Green spent four years combing through navel records, historical newspapers and photos to document the stores of the boys of Southwest Arm who served in the Newfoundland Royal Naval Reserve. This is a collection of stories recording those who enlisted, trained and deployed with the Royal Navy and Royal Canadian Navy. Stories of deeds done, awards and medals given. Stories of families who suffered turmoil but endured on the home front, waiting for the return of their loved ones.
